Obtaining the API Key

The process involves registering your application on the DHL API Developer Portal to enable DHL parcel DEGermany tracking. Each customer is required to go through the following steps:

1. Go to the DHL API Developer Portal by navigating to https://developer.dhl.com/. If you don't have an account, register for one and log in.in. Once logged in, navigate to your account dashboard.
2. Locate and click on the "Create App" button.
3. In the "App Name" section, giveenter your application a name.
4. In the "Select APIs" section, find and choose "Shipping Tracking—Unified." If necessary, Use the search box.
5. Below the API selection, click "Add to App" to set rate limits for your app.
6. After configuring the details, click the "Create App" button at the bottom of the page.
7. Your application status is now "In Progress" and awaiting confirmation. Click on the app you just created to access its details.
8. From the app details, find and note down the API key.
9. If your tracking requirements exceed 250 calls a day, consider upgrading. Click on the "Upgrade Rate Limit" button in the app details. Fill in the necessary information, specifying the desired daily call limit. Submit the request, and DHL will review and adjust your application's limits accordingly.

Setting Up DHL Parcel DEGermany

This document provides a step-by-step guide to integrating DHL Parcel DEGermany with Voila.Voila. Follow these instructions to integrate DHL Parcel DEGermany into your system:

1. Begin by navigating to the left panel and hovering your cursor over "API Accounts."
2. Click the plus icon to initiate the setup process under your preferred API Account.
3. In the first row, choose "DHL Parcel DE"Germany" from the list of available options.
4. The following fields are required for setting up DHL Parcel DEGermany integration:
   • Company: Enter any identifier you prefer.
   • Testing: This is a simple yes or no selection. If enabled, the information will not be transmitted to the courier through their API, making it suitable for testing.
   • API_Key, Username, Password, Billing_Number, Profile: Obtain these details through DHL Parcel DE'Germany's platform or contact them directly to acquire this information.
   • Notes: Use this field to enter relevant information or notes regarding this courier. It will only be visible to you.
5. To complete the setup, click on "Save Changes."
